After the aircon in my Skoda Octavia stopped working, I was told by Skoda dealer that a compressor is damaged. I wanted to get a few quotes for replacing the compressor, came across Vehicools website and submitted an enquiry online. Brett got back to me quickly and was very helpful in answering various technical questions I had. I was impressed by his professionalism and asked him to source and fit a new compressor. Before fitting the compressor, Brett did the diagnostics of the aircon system and found that it was not the compressor that needed replacing, it was a leaking condenser! He arranged another visit, managed to return the compressor to his supplier, sourced a new condenser and carried out a tricky job of replacing the old one. One can only guess how much money he saved me by fixing the right thing. It was a pleasure to deal with Brett and I will be using Vehicools again.

My Aston Martin V8 Vantage recently suffered an Air Con failure with warm air rather than cold air being circulated. I then looked very carefully for an experienced engineer with a pedigree in automotive engineering. The Vehicools web site provided me with a detailed summary of Brett's skills and gave me the reassurance that i had found the right person to work on my beloved Aston. From this point on all my expectations were just way exceeded. Brett arrived the following day, he seemed to know his way around the Aston, was certainly very technically knowledgeable about it and hence, quickly had the fault correctly diagnosed as a failed compressor clutch. Using Vehicools trade contacts proved to be the quickest way of sourcing the new part. I could see that it was by no means easy to change out. However, Brett soon had it stripped out, changed, re-gassed, pressure tested, leak checked, electronics reset and then handed over to me after total and thorough testing. I have to say, i was really impressed, the timescales, the professionalism, work ethos and overall quality delivered by Vehicools was trully exceptional.

I contacted Brett to have a look at my Peugeot 407 SW. The air conditioning didn't appear to be working properly and I had a damp smell inside the car. Brett came out to me, as arranged and quickly diagnosed that the system was low on gas. He carried out a thorough leak check and then serviced the air conditioning system. He also cleaned the air conditioning system with an anti-bacterial treatment, which smells nice and fresh. The air conditioning now works fantastic, and the vehicle is now more comfortable to drive.
